Lincoln Monument - NYSC 1978

Delegates and Staph from National Youth Science Camp 1978 depart from the Lincoln Monument.  A visit to Washington D.C. has been a long-standing tradition for NYSCs, and gives delegates an opportunity to visit the capitol, it’s surrounding museums and national monuments.  It also offers delegates exposure to science policy, and insight into the various fields that a STEM education can lead into.

From the Archives is a reoccurring post that dives back into the archives of National Youth Science Foundation programs.
