Davis, West Virginia – The National Youth Science Foundation would like to congratulate the 2021 National Youth Science Camp delegates from New Jersey! Four delegates were selected to represent New Jersey at the 2021 National Youth Science Camp held virtual from June 28 to July 21, 2021.

Adam Tseng is a 2021 graduate of Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health & Biomedical Sciences. Adam will be attending Temple University studying Health Professions. Adam’s hobbies include tennis, swimming, and jazz piano.

Vipin Gunda is a 2021 graduate of John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. Vipin will be attending Cornell University, studying Computer Science. Vipin’s hobbies include trivia, programming, and robotics.

Lina Chihoub is a 2021 graduate of Lawrence High School. Lina will be attending the University of Pennsylvania, studying Neuroscience. Lina’s hobbies include graphic design, poetry, and behavioral neuroscience research.

Kara Lui is a 2021 graduate of High Technology High School. Kara will be attending Northeastern University pursuing a career as a Chemical Engineer. Kara’s hobbies include Chinese dance, swimming, and orchestra.

These delegates will join around 140 other top science students from across the nation and around the world for this acclaimed honors science leadership program. For the next month, the delegates will be immersed in science lectures and directed studies lead by some of the top scientists and professors from around the world.

NYSCamp Director, Dr. Brian Kinghorn, noted, “NYSCamp delegates are some of the best and brightest STEM students from across the world and deserved to be recognized for their protentional for leadership and achievements. The virtual camp will provide them with opportunities to interact with STEM experts, build lasting friendships, and get a jump start on changing the world for good.”

Delegates will have opportunities to interact and connect with each other and to join in interactive sessions with presenters. Even though they are unable to gather in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, the 2021 National Youth Science Camp will be an engaging, exciting, and unforgettable experience for delegates!
