We are excited to announce the students who have been selected to represent their respective states and countries at the 2025 National Youth Science Camp (NYSCamp) and are currently participating in the program. For the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, all 50 states and Washington, D.C. are represented at the camp, as well as 14 international students from 8 other Western Hemisphere nations.
Celebrating our 62nd year, the NYSCamp is a residential science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) program hosted in West Virginia’s Monongahela National Forest, designed to honor and challenge our nation’s rising STEAM leaders.
This year’s program extends from July 10-August 2, 2025, beginning with a weekend in Washington, D.C. where delegates will have the opportunity to attend scientific lectures, tour local museums, and experience our nation’s capital together.
During programming in West Virginia, delegates are given daily opportunities to engage with visiting STEAM professionals from around the country and participate in outdoor recreational adventures such as hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and caving.
As the flagship program of the National Youth Science Academy, generous support from multiple sources including the Academy, donors, and other sponsors makes it possible for all delegates to attend the annual NYSCamp program at no cost.
For more information about the program, please visit nyscamp.org or contact the NYSCamp Office at nyscamp@nysacademy.org.
